Asbestos Waste Disposal
Asbestos is a controlled substance and, as such, must be transported according to Provincial Regulations. Additionally, illegal dumping and improper disposal carry huge fines. On Point will collect and/or dispose of your asbestos waste, provided it is handled, bagged, and we take custody of the material, in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Disposal Cost (subject to change) – $25.00/bag, provided the following requirements are met:
• Double bag
• Unbroken bag
• Goosenecked bag
• Maximum weight per bag – 25lb/12kg
• Asbestos labelled bag
• Disposal Form completed
*Should additional bags be required, or overweight bags are handled, additional charges will apply (see Asbestos Disposal Form, below, for full details).
In addition to disposal costs, transportation of asbestos starts at $250 (subject to change) in Edmonton.
